■ 발표주제: 폐렴구균 다당류 협막 분류 및 백신 개발
Recently my laboratory has discovered a new pneumococcal serotype, which we named 6C since its similarity to other members in serogroup 6. The seminar will describe the discovery and characterization of the new pneumococcal serotype and its impact on the formulation of the currently used pneumococcal vaccines. In the seminar, a new approach for designing a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine will be described. Furthermore, the seminar will describe the molecular evolution of serogroup 6.
